Inspired by...

April 28th, 2014

Hi everyone! Today's Mani was inspired by +cutepolish
Her video name on her YouTube Channel is
Pretty in Pink
I loved this design so much I had to do it!
Cutepolish demonstrates so well in her video on how to do each & every nail. She also has a great way of doing freehanded chevron tips !
(their on the thumbs sorry i didnt put in the picture)
So let's get down to how I did this mani...
Pinky ;
For the base I used China Glaze - Petal to the Metal. I let that dry then took my dotting tool & Julep - Brigitte & created dots along the whole nail. First line I did 2 dots & for second line I did 3 dots, then repeat these steps till the end of the nail.
Ring Finger ;
I started with a base coat of Sally Hansen - Wedding Glitters & let it dry. Then I topped it off with O.P.I - Pink Yet Lavender.
Middle Finger ;
For the base I used Julep - Brigitte & let it dry. Then with Lorel's - Bubble Trouble I made 5 little spots. Then I took my dotting tool & China Glaze - Petal to the Metal & made little c's around the pink spots creating a leopard print.
Index Finger ;
I started with China Glaze - Petal to the Metal as the base color. Then with my striper & O.P.I - Italian Love Affair I made 5 lines going down my nail.
Thumb ;
For the base coat i used Julep - Brigitte & let it dry.
Then with Lorel's - Bubble Trouble I made a chevron tip & let it dry then took China Glaze - Petal to the Metal to get a two toned chevron tip.

Hope you all like & thank you CutePolish for this beautiful design!

BornPrettyStore Gold Heart Leopard Print Water Decals

April 21st, 2014

Gold Heart Leopard Print Mani!
(Using water decals)
So for today's mani I decided to try out my BornPrettyStore water decals, it was a little frustrating to do I must say I almost ran out of patience! Your supposed to soak it in water for 10-20 seconds but for some reason I couldn't get the decal to stick on my nail from the paper after wetting it so it peeled off and I just stuck it to my nail using my fingers. Then I applied a top coat & vola!
A beautiful mani!
I absolutely love it but if it worked as said.. it would have been fairly quick to do as well.
Hope you all likeee :)

Easter Nail Art!

April 19, 2014

Hi everyone! Today is all about Easter !
I am a little late to posting seeing as yesterday was a very busy family fun filled day. But its still Easter Monday! My middle finger did not go quite as planned.. I wanted to do three easter eggs but it looked a lot better in my head! But everything else turned out to my liking :) I did an Easter Chick & Bunny that couldn't be any cuter! And some easter egg designs in the other nails. It didn't take as long as I thought it would either ! Maybe an hour :)
Hope you all enjoy!
I used A LOT of polishes for this so here we go.

Polishes used ;
Julep - Jet
Julep - Brigitte
Julep - Charlie
Julep - Princess Grace
China Glaze - At Vase Value
China Glaze - Lotus Begin

Stamped Flowers Using Julep Polishes!

April 15, 2014

Hey Ladies! Today I have a BornPrettyStore Image Plate Stamped mani used with Julep Polishes !
I know most of you are like wow Julep! No way!?
But yesyess it is true!
 They are wonderful for stamping.. I recently had a feeling they would work really well seeing as they have a very 'runny' formula. So I gave it a try & here's my end result.

Polishes used;
Julep - Maren (pink) for this I used two coats, You could go for three if your using it alone & don't want your nail tips to show. But since I was stamping over top I didn't think it would matter.
Julep - Elle (purple) this is the polish I used to stamp the image from my BornPrettyStore Plate. & as I hoped it worked wonderfully. Only problem is that since it is such a 'runny' polish you may need to scrape your Imagr Plate twice. But other than that no complaints !
& of course I used my BornPrettyStore Image Plate m64

Matte'd Geometric Nails !

April 12, 2014

Hello beautiful ladies!
Today's Blue Mani is dedicated to NAAM which is the National Autistic Awareness Month!
It may only be celebrated in the states but I wanted to show my awareness with a little design :)
I was inspired by a image on Google Images
But I don't know her name to give her proper credit.

I started out with a base & let it dry.
Then I layed a piece of tape down and applied a different color. Do the same to every nail & let dry.
Finally you add another piece of tape down wherever you'd like and apply your third color. Do this to every nail let dry & apply a matte or shiny top coat!

For this design I went matte for the finish to he apart of the Nail Polish Queens Community on G+ !
Hope you all likeee !

Polishes used;
China Glaze - At Vase Value
Julep - Margaret

BornPrettyStore Stamping Plate & Polish

April 08th, 2014

Hello everyone! Today's design is from a BornPrettyStore Image Plate w. BPS Stamping Polish
Over top of O.P.I's Miami Beet.
I must say I love the end result! This color is a must have in anyones collection, its on of my favorites! But honestly girls I couldn't believe the difference Stamping Polish has over regular polish.. Boy am I ever impressed! So impressed I'm going to be doing alot more stamping from now on.

Yesterday morning I received my BornPrettyStore Stamping Polish, I got Black & White in a bundle for I believe $3 or $4 something. So I decided to try it out today on a BornPrettyStore Image Plate I got a while back and it's amazing! Especially for the price i definitely recommend it!

Julep's April Maven it Girl Box Swatches && Julep's Vanish

 So I woke up this morning to both of my recent Julep orders, which I was not expecting to get on the same day! Boy was I ever a happy girl!
 This month's 'It Girl' box by Julep included
Bailey - a beautiful blue that would be great for Nautical Nails, Flora - a beautiful shimmery purple, & Maren - a gorgeous shimmery pink.
I also added on Brigitte & Jet for $7.99 !
Veiw my swatches below!
 Then I received my
Julep Vanish Cutile Remover & Softener
I went out on a lim on this bad boy and bought it mainly based on how many review it recieved.
I didn't think I would ever buy something based on its reviews but I swear they were that good I just had to have it! So far I have used it three times within 2 days I think I'm going to use it 2 times daily till I see a major improvement then lower it to 2- 3 times a week.
&&&
I will be giving this a separate review once I see more changes & improvements. So far I've noticed it does make my cuticles softer & removed some ofbthebdead cuticle skin!! So far so good !

Half n Half

April 04th, 2014

Todays design is a Half n Half Mani.
Its so easy to do and can work with so many colors!
All you need is a base coat , your half coat & some scotch tape.
Apply your base color and let it dry.
Add sctoch tape down the middle of your nails.
& paint the half not covered with your top color.
Apply a topcoat & there you have it!
A half n half mani !!
I love these colors together except the fact that the beige was such a thin polish I had to use 5 coats on each nail to make it appear as it did in the bottle & it was my first time using either polish and its halfway done! Never using that one again!
But other than that one little problem I really love this mani and the colors ! Hope you all do too !!

Polishes used ;
Julep - Jennifer (beige)
Julep - Margret (light blue)

April 03rd, 2014

Another blogger inspired mani ! This one was by DramaQueenNails !
I really liked her idea of doing the strips with the leopard print & then adding a little bling ;)
I really like the outcome although my free handing lines needs some practice..
Its a beautiful mani & really stands out which is always a plus for me !
Hope you all like :)
