Christmas Party Nail Art 🎄🎉

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another mani for ya today! Something that I'm pretty sure we'll all have to go to this Christmas season .. A Christmas Party!

I started out with 2 coats of O.P.I - I'm Not Really A Waitress on my pinky & middle finger, then did two coats of Sally Hansen - Wedding Glitters on my ring finger & thumbs & lastly but not least ! Two coats of Julep - Diamond Theory.

Once it was all dried I took my O.P.I - I'm Not Really A Waitress & my nail art brush & made 2 diamonds coming down the middle of my ring finger. Then with my white nail art polish I made two lines creating an X on each diamond. I did this on my thumbs as well. Let dry for at least 10 minutes to avoid smudging when applying your favourite top coat!

That's it ladies now your ready to party! Hope you all enjoyed!

Happy Polishing! ❤️💅

❄️SnowFlake Nail Art❄️

Hi lovees! Yesterday I received my BornPrettyStore Christmas Stamping Plate #01 & I just could wait to try it out!

I started out with two coats of Deborah Lippmanns Jessa, let it dry, then I moved on to the stamping. I originally was going to do white snow flakes but my whites were all goopy & wouldn't scrape properly off the stamping plate, so I went with Sally Hansens Celeb City & topped it off with BellaPierre Glitter Snow top coat.
Hope you all enjoy !
Happy Poluhing ! 💅❤️❄️

❄️ Warm & Toasty Turtleneck meets Snow ❄️

November 17th, 2014

Hi dolls! Got a super easy mani / swatch for you all today!
I used Essie - Warm & Toasty Turtleneck
& LM polish that is shown below that has no colour name.
I used 2 coats for Essie which I must say I love, it's on a more darker side of your average lavender it's more lilac-y to me but either way it's absoloutly gorgeous.
I decided to top it off with the polish shown below.

For this polish I used one coat but dabbed a bit more on each finger
To get more flakes on it..
After that I let them dry for 10 minutes & topped it off with my favourite top coat
❤️ Seche Vite ❤️

Happy polishing ❤️

Stained Glass Floral Nail Art

November 10th, 2014

Haay beaaauts ! So I've got a super colorful & super pretty nail art to show y'all today!
As you will see below, I started out with a white base so the colors would stand out more & and then ofcourse i stamped in black. The stamping plate I used is by BornPrettyStore BORNPRETTY 03
So that is what it looked like before the stained glass came into effect!
Now to create the stained glass effect I used 5 different colors all by julep, you can find the polish names below.. I started out with my red, coloring one flower on each nail, trying not to have it in the same place on each nail then continued to do the same with the other three colors. But then their were still white spaces & they were clearly not flowers so of course I figured green for leaves ! 😉
& Vola !

Snow Leopard Nail Art !

November 07th, 2014

Hi my beaauuts! Today I've got a sorta wintery nail art to show ya!
Its getting awfully cold very quickly here in Toronto but I felt it was waay to early to do a christmasy nail deaign but so cold it feels were already there! There has been a few days were its actually flurrying already! So I thought this was more than sutible.

First I obviously started out with my base being the white.
Once that was dry, I took my gray brush & dabbed little spots around every nail til I was satisfied.
Then on a small notepad I put a drop of black polish at a time so I don't waste as so much when it starts to dry.
Then with my nail art brush I dab it into the black polish and sorta create little c's around each gray spot. Some fully circled some only half, whatever suits your preference !
Once your done that step you may find you have too many white spaces, in that case.. Dab your nail art brush into the black again and make dots &/ lines to fill in the extra space.
Top off with your favorite top coat once dry!

Hope you all enjoyed !
Happy Polishing !

Merlot Maigc & Mauve Rose Swatchees

Hi my loveliees ! Today I've got two beautiful swatches to show you! They are both from Polish My Life's 'Wine & Chocolate' Collection !
And they are just GORGEOUUS ! ❤❤

First up is 'Merlot Magic'
Merlot Magic has got me speachless! Its so beautiful I'm lost for words.. The shimmer in it is to dye for!
By faaar my favorite black. && the formula is wonderful! It has suuch a creamy texture to the polish that I love, it applys so nicely & if you get enough on the brush one coat will do you just fine!
1 Coat

 Next up is 'Mauve Rose'
I really wish I could have captured the gorgeous shimmer this polish has to it a lot better, this picture does not justify it whatsoever!!
But just as 'Merlot Magic' the formula is super creamy & very easy to apply! I barely had any cleanup !

🍁 Autumn Tree Nail Art 🍁

November 02, 2014

🍁 Autumn Trees 🍁
Hi my loveliees ! So I had shown you a swatch of this lovely color yesterday and really wanted to do some fall nail art but didn't want to take the polish off so quickly after I had jus put it on!
So I was back to the drawring board until this beautiful tree i always see through my living room window had caught my attention, then I knew what to do & still keep this gorgeous Nude Lace on.
So I started out with dotting the stump until I was satisfied, then I started dotting my yellow leaves first, then the orange, than red. Once all color leaves are down you may want to add a few more to even out the colors ( too much yellow not enough red )
So you get the idea !
& if you'd like to give it a bit more of an effect
Dot some falling leaves off to the side of both trees.

Polishes used ;
Polish my Life - Nude Lace
Julep - Charlie
Julep - Princess Grace
Sally Hansen - Cherry Red

Nude Lace Swatch & Review !

November 02, 2014

Hi lovelies!
So I recently made my first purchase on some
Indie Polishes & my brand of choice was
Polish My Life.
& wow am I amazed. For a homemade product the formula is to dye for. Its thick & creamy & just lovely.
It dries within a reasonable amount of time & the color is by far the best beige/nude I've ever owned.
If you get enough polish on the brush you won't even need 2 coats! It's amazing.
I've got two more colors to try out that are from her new Wine & Chocolate Collection so stay tuned !
